Step Up. Stop Hunger.

In partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and local faith organizations. Fundraise to end hunger, then walk, run, and volunteer at this fantastic community event. Parishes also compete for the coveted Bishop's Cup which includes a trophy and an ECF grant for outreach.

2025 Hunger Walk Run

Registration is now open for the 41st Annual Hunger Walk Run on March 9, 2025!

Hunger Walk Run 2025 will take place at The Home Depot Backyard, adjacent to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

  • 11 am: Youth-Led Eucharist | Register Below by 3/5
  • 12 pm: Festivities Begin at The Home Depot Backyard
  • 2 pm: 5K Walk and 5K Race begin!

Details about the Youth-Led Eucharist

  • 10:15am: Coffee Hour
  • 11 am: Holy Eucharist (Student Preacher: Maya; Celebrant: Rt. Rev. Robert C. Wright)
  • Location: Absalom Jones Episcopal Center for Racial Healing (807 Atlanta Student Movement BLVD, 1.4 miles from The Home Depot Backyard)
  • Parking: Street parking is available as well as a parking lot a couple of blocks away. Following the service, you can either move your car or take our shuttle to the Hunger Walk Run:
    • Moving Your Car: Parking is available near The Home Depot Backyard if you would like to move your vehicle after the service. Parking passes can be purchased online (purchase before March 7 to avoid a price increase).
    • Shuttle: The Diocesan Youth Commission will have two 15-passenger vans for anyone who would like to leave their cars at AJCRH and shuttle to and from the event. If you don’t want to wait for a shuttle back to AJCRH after the race, we recommend moving your car to one of the event decks near The Home Depot Backyard.
