She is responsible for leadership and management of the organization, including developing and implementing annual and planned giving campaigns, board and volunteer management, grant administration, overseeing communications, and day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining ECF, Lindsey served as the first Development Director for the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership and as Special Events & Board Manager for the Alliance Theatre. Lindsey is committed to growing a strong nonprofit sector; she currently volunteers with the Junior League of Atlanta and LEAD Atlanta, is a co-founder of the Atlanta branch of Bourbon Women Association, and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Greater Atlanta Chapter where she served on the Board of Directors from 2017-2020. She was the Founding Board Chair for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) Atlanta and served as Co-Chair for the 2017 YNPN National Conference. Lindsey has also served on the board of several local nonprofit organizations; selected honors include Leadership Buckhead (2017), Atlanta Business Chronicle’s inaugural 30 Under 30 (2015), LEAD Atlanta (2015), and the Georgia Center for Nonprofits/YNPN Atlanta inaugural Nonprofit Leaders 30 Under 30 (2013).

Lindsey is very active at her church, the Cathedral of St. Philip (Cathedral Chapter/Vestry Class of 2017) as well as in the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta where she serves as a Licensed Lay Preacher. She has been elected as Lay Deputy to the 81st General Convention of The Episcopal Church (2024); this will be her second term representing the Diocese of Atlanta in The House of Deputies, part of the bicameral legislature which governs The Episcopal Church. Lindsey has also been appointed as a member of the Task Force on the State of Membership in The Episcopal Church.

Lindsey earned her BA in both English and theatre from Wake Forest University, her MFA in performing arts management from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, a Certificate in Theology and the Arts from Fuller Theological Seminary, her Master of Theological Studies & MDiv Equivalent at Nashotah House Theological Seminary, and her Doctor of Ministry (Church Leadership and Community Witness) at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. Lindsey is a member of the American Academy of Religion and the Association of Practical Theology.

Lindsey is also a professional organizer and productivity consultant trained and certified by Marie Kondo as Georgia’s first Certified KonMari Consultant as well as one of the first YNAB Certified Budgeting Coaches trained to coach people on using the transformative You Need A Budget method and software. She works with individuals, families, and companies to create their ideal life by organizing their spaces, systems, and finances through her company Get Organized Y'all®. Personally, Lindsey enjoys reading voraciously, being a bit geeky (including Star Wars, Harry Potter, and The Sims), baking and cooking, drinking a good cup of coffee, and experiencing the arts and culture community in Atlanta.
