I had never given much thought to the subject of refugees until my first year of seminary.

The purpose of the Episcopal Community Foundation (ECF) is to provide support for parishes in their ministry with the victims of human trafficking (along with others experiencing poverty and oppression).

I urge you to take a look at the ministries around our Diocese that are supported by the Episcopal Community Foundation, and how many of them work directly to feed the hungry—in both the literal as well as metaphorical ways.

I suppose Eve and Adam were the first tenants to be evicted from their home back at the beginning of Creation.

Part of ECF’s charge is to support ministry for our siblings and children among us trapped in generational poverty.

I confess to musing rather cynically that maybe the criminal justice system was the last item on the list because it is the last thing many of us wish to think about or be involved in.
